Optimalisasi Penggunaan Media Digital oleh Lembaga Keagamaan untuk Pendidikan Agama: Sebuah Analisis dan Rekomendasi Strategi

Abstract


Abstract. This research aimed to analyze the use of digital media by Catholic religious institutions in providing substantial and in-depth religious education material. The research method used is netnography, with the target of researching the use of digital media as a means of delivering religious education material by Catholic religious institutions in East Flores and Lembata Regencies. The research result showed that information or religious education material delivered via digital media is still lacking in substance, depth and relevance to spiritual needs, although it must also be acknowledged that it has provided an emotional and visual experience for students.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media digital oleh lembaga-lembaga keagamaan Katolik dalam penyediaan materi pendidikan agama yang substansial dan mendalam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah netnografi, dengan sasaran penelitian penggunaan media digital sebagai alat penyampaian materi pendidikan agama oleh lembaga-lembaga keagamaan Katolik di Kabupaten Flores Timur dan Lembata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa informasi atau materi pendidikan agama yang disampaikan melalui media digital masih kurang substantif, mendalam, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan spiritual, meskipun juga harus diakui telah memberikan pengalaman emosional dan visual bagi peserta didik.
