DOKTRIN ONENESS PENTACOSTALISM

Abstract


Oneness Pentecostalism refers to non-trinity doctrine. Oneness doctrin states that there is only one Lord, a singular spirit that manifests himself in many different ways, as Father, Son, dan Holy Spirit as well. Such doctrine absolutely contrast to Trinity doctrine, which believing in three divine persons. This article’s writer in analizing Oneness issue using exegesis method to the Collosians 1:15-20, a biblical text used by Oneness believer in proving their belief. In this Collosian 1:15-20 exegesis proved that the Son was with the Father in existence before the creation of everything. The Son was active with the Father in creation. Thus, proves that Oneness belief of a singular divine person is not true.
