PERAN ROH KUDUS DALAM PELAKSANAAN PENDIDIKAN KRISTEN

Abstract

One of the Apostle Creed said: “I believe in Holy Ghost.” That creed is not a mere slogan, but tested confession along history and a direct spiritual experienced for prophets and church fathers. They were audaciously transferring the apostle creed, through teaching and encouraging believers along history so they experienced a Holy Spirit’s fulfilling life.

The Lord Jesus, as such a teacher, was teaching and introducing Holy Spirit to His disciples, till they recognized and lived driven by. Once Jesus said, “It is for your good if I am going away...if I go, I will send Him (Holy Spirit) to you. When he comes, He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:7-8). Before Jesus left this world, He sent Holy Spirit to do His job on earth. Holy Spirit is a witness of the work of salvation and Jesus’ teaching on earth. The Spirit came for glorifying Jesus and informing disciples of what He got from Jesus. The wirter would explain about “The Role of Holy Spirit in Implementing Christian Education” through this article.

Christian Education would need Holy Spirit very much in its implementing. Holy Spirit is presenting and actively playing role within Christian educators personality. According to Kenneth O. Gangel, “A teacher of Christian Education has to be lack of sin and fulfilled by Spirit.” The writer agreed with it very much, because teacher has very hard task due to carrying the truth in this world. All knowledges have to be understood, learned, had pat, and implementable goodly and rightly as well. When implementing knowledge out of truth, then it would be meaningless, even couldcause self-suffering and around. This is a role of Holy Spirit in implementing Christian Education, bringing people to know truth and implement it in all learning aspects.
